Title: Your pet becomes disabled but that doesn't mean he has to go OTRB
Post by: Angel Bonnie on August 29, 2015, 10:28:23 AM
Pets can live for many happy years with the loss of a limb, a spinal condition or blindness, there is no need for euthanasia.

You don't have to say goodbye to them, if you have the funds or can afford to keep them pain free so they can enjoy life as they did before. And in the case of blindness it's just a matter of adjusting your lifestyle or routine to accommodate a blind pet.

Search online for dogs with disabilities.

Here are a few sites that can show you how to care for your disabled pet and to give you an idea of the costs involved.

Of course it's not everyone that can afford to keep a disabled pet, or one that is on daily or weekly meds, but knowledge is a wonderful thing and if you are fortunate enough to be able to afford it, then you and your disabled pet can have many more years together.
